im trying out a list for the next tourni that is loota-less. i KNOW... Heresy. Its ok though. Mostly guys here play marines with as many ML as possible. the last tourni featured a space wolf army with 30 terminators and 15 devestators that had 21 ML shots per turn. This tactic while effective is boring. I dont have the models to field a totally Broke army which seems to be what most people are shooting for so i was thinking of just using what i do have to make an army that will be very hard to win against. Yea... i like to be a spoiler.

Whoa. I know its a major departure from the field as many lootas as possiible lists that we have been seeing a lot of as of late. i figure i will have cover saves galore from either the kanz and the other amore runnin around the field between the boys and the enemy. I was thinking about dropping the battle wagons and fielding more kanz and using a truck to deliver the nobs with. dont know. what do you think.

Despite your opitimism, your list sucks.
1. NO theme, If you want to win you MUST have a theme. Battlewagon rush, Greentide, Shooty, or Kan wall.
2. A warboss is best with out Mega armor you save points by doing that.

Dump the 3 mobz of 30
Have 3 mobs of 20 boyz w/ 1 nob - Power Klaw, Bosspole

1 Nob squad
dump the dread

Have 4 Battlewagons.
1 for the nobz, mek, and the boss. (yes all in the same battlewagon)
The other battlewagons are for da boyz. If you want to add units to the army you should have only 3 Options more nob squads, Lootaz, or Deff Koptaz.

if i field this list the last unit of 30 boys would walk on from reserves along with the ardboys. In objective missions they would just be there to hold objectives late game.

I give you the Toolz to succeed, but you have to use them.

Why the 'ard boyz? No reason to field them
What you want is battlewagons and dudes. The GW Faq made deffrollas useful, so those should probably be on there. Nobs in a waggon seems decent enough. Don't put a walking boyz squad in, take grots if you want to hold objectives.

i only have 10 lootas or the flyboys and am tired of buying stuff to try to make a netlist. that said. thanks for the help.

Why not use 'em? Two units of five Lootas would be frequently useful.

i do have 265pts left. i was thinking of runnin a GIant mob of kommando with snikrot and two burnas.

Well that list looks pretty good. I haven't used Kommandos, but they look decent on paper. If nothing else, they give you TFG insurance/a very orky tactical option.

Hold on that list is what I used, just that I have made it better since then.

Instead of 5 Deffkoptaz I only have 3.

1 Unit of 15 Lootaz.

So 10 lootas and then 3 deafkopters or some such. thats where i am leaning for my final list.

I have never tried them, Though I have hear of the nastiest trick in the book. Ghaz can be with snikrot and come from behind. and kill em all.

hmmmm. just that one of my battlewagons is busted up pretty bad. iwas going to sell my orks so it really didnt matter but the thought of gaz. coming from behind and attacking is Awsome.
