With Halloween coming up and a few Pumpkins done for a party lying about, I decided to create a Pumpkin thread. Mostly because I assume that many of us budding modellers will be able to apply their skills to this unusual medium and produce some interesting work.

First off, the Mutant Pumpkin. Done yesterday.

Next is the Warrior Pumpkin, which was completed the day before yesterday. Note that the helmet studs, sharp teeth and nose bridge were shrunk by the heat.

And both of them in the dark.

I must say, I had a lot of fun doing these guys, and it doesn't take a lot of time due to how easy it is to carve pumpkin flesh. You just need a decent modelling knife and away you go.

The second one reminds me of the Motorhead "war pig". Anyways I don't think I'll have enough time to make any jack-o-lanterns unfortunately.

The second one is actually based off just that. I have a hoody of it.

Also; why you quote the entire entry post in the second post of the thread?

I almost always quote the phrase I'm responding to when replying on DakkaDakka, I don't know why.

99% of your posts are in the Single Story Thread. You never post a reply there.

Ergo, how can you be quoting regularly when you don't do it in a thread that comrpises 164.34% of your posts????

Those pumpkins had so much potential: Pumpkin pie, pumpkin scones, pumpkin risotto, potumkin mash... I hope you atleast used some of the meat.
