San Francisco

I just started playing Infinity this year. I decided to get Pan-O because of the cool models and high BS.

My gaming buddies and I usually play 250 points and do not mind model proxies (since Infinity models come out REALLY slow).

I typically have this in my army:

1. 1 Croc-man boarding shotgun/combi and with TO and infiltrator deployment.
2. 1 Nisses HMG with MSV 2
3. 1 Aquila Guard MULTI riffle as my Lt
4. Trauma Doc and a few Order monkeys (Fusiliers)

I recently started using:

1. 1 Teutonic Knight Spitfire Frenzy
2. 1 Hexa Spitfire light infantry with TO
3. I also experimented w/ Acontecimento Regulars and Kamau cuz of higher BS

My buddies said my army is strong enough and capable enough to win. I just kept losing due to dice rolls or key mistakes in deployment and attack.

Any suggestions on how to maximize the capabilities of my army list or any suggestions on replacing or adding units.

I typically face off with an Ariadna player who tends to use T2 snipers and paratroopers to wipe out my defenses.

Figures i bought so far:
1. Shock Army of Acontecimento - 3 regulars, 1 bagh-mari, 1 akal sikh commando and 1 Knight of Montesa
2. Nisses (HMG)
3. Knights of Santiago (Spitfire, AP CCW)
4. Trauma-Doc (Doctor) (1)
5. Aquila Guard (1 figure w/HMG, Shock CCW) (1)
6. Croc Man (Sniper) (1)

I'm looking at buying the Cutter TAG and the Auxilia.

I would appreciate any tips, comments (friendly and constructive) and suggestions.

Thanks.

Ok.
If you are playing just extermination games, just kill all the minis of your enemy, with no mission objectives involved... then, this miniatures are the most effective:

Aquila Guard with Heavy Machine Gun- Don´t use him as Lt. with Multi Rifle, use him as a reactive figure, declaring reaction shots (AROs) to all the enemies he could see. Deploy him in a high tower with a doctor or a palbot near him, so you can recover him if he is hitted.
Nisse with HMG or Sniper Rifle- Also very good as a reactive sniper. Similar observations here, the use of palbots as servants of the Trauma-Doc are also a good idea.
Cutter- The best troop and miniature of the whole game.
Akalis Sikh- the PanO paratroopers, always effective.

These troops are completely ELITE, best of the best. Defend with Aquila and Nisses. Attack with Cutter and Akalis.

Trauma-Doc & Palbots- Not the best Doctor in the game, but it is necesary. It will make your troops even better, the chance of reviving one of the miniatures above is cost-worthy. The Palbots expand the presence of your Doctor, so you can heal more miniatures without moving to reach them with the doc´s miniature.

Have a nice day.
