This would be the third army i get so i am a veteran player i was wondering which army people suggest and why?

what are your other two armies and what is your typical playstyle? Are you looking for more of the same or do you want to try something very different?

I had tau got really bored of them cause they were strictly shooty and then eldar which i could annoyed with because to have a good effective list you need to have tons of troops and they are all specialty troops. dark eldar i love the new models. Tyranids i love the models and i think the running and slaughtering for the most part is sweet but they still can shoot and the dark eldar seem like they will be fun with all their units

This is the army list forum, I suggest you ask in the 40k General Discussion forum if you are asking for advice on which army to play.

Personally, getting someone to tell you what army to play is a bit like letting someone give you a tattoo of anything they want. It may not be what you want and you're stuck with it.

Do you want to have to paint vehicles? My space marines failed as I had no vehicles (and didn't want to paint them at the time)

I went to nids and then onto tau where I'm struggling to paint them nicely and just want to get them done semi-decently.

Basically what I'm getting at is i) do you want performance over looks, and from there work it out.
