I currently have a daemonhunters + inducted imperial guard army. I am not bothered about points atm, I would just like some advice on what units to buy to add to my list. I never play with my entire force as it is over 4000 points, I simply write new lists from my current models.

I will write what I have including the upgrades shown on the models - some wargear can be added or removed depending on my current list.
This is what I currently have:

Inquisitor and retinue - Inquisitor, 1 acolyte with plasma pistol, 1 multimelta servitor, 1 veteran with plasma gun, 1 veteran with melta gun, skull probe, mystic

GK terminators - brother captain, 5 GK terminators, 1 GK terminator with incinerator

GK squad - GK justicar, 6 GKs, 1 GK with incinerator

GK squad - GK justicar, 5 GKs, 2 GKs with incinerators

GK purgation squad - GK justicar, 4 psycannon armed GKs

GK dreadnought - armed with psycannon

GK landraider - pintle mounted stormbolter

Callidus temple assassin

3 Death cult assassin

Stormtrooper squad - 9 stormtroopers, 1 rhino transport

Stormtrooper squad - 9 stormtroopers, 1 rhino transport

Stormtrooper squad - 9 stormtroopers, 1 rhino transport

IG infantry platoon
- 1 commandsquad - junior officer with plasma gun, medic, guard with plasma gun, guard with melta gun, guard with vox
- guardsman squad - sergeant, 1 guardsman with vox, 1 guardsman with flamer, 7 guardsman

If you have any suggestiong of what to buy next, Currently I ahve probelems dealing with mass powerarmered troops. I cant beat the 3+ save. As the daemonhunters codex has vanished for a suspected update I am looking at mostly IG. Thanks

Run IG with inducted Daemonhunters. So buy a CCS with melta or plasma.

Leman Russes wipe out squads of marines easily. That's what they do best.

You can add a cpl squads of PAGKs w/ psycannons, Inquisitor w/ a cpl mystics, and a Grandmaster w/ retinue.

Guess noone cares about DH now the codex is off the shelves :(
