Subject: Inquisitors and their Acolytes

Hi all.
This is a question related to Inquisitors and their undercover missions. Would an Inquisitor send his Acolyte away on a different mission if you get what I mean. As an example, say an Inquisitor is deep undercover on one side of the world, would he send his Acolyte for another mission on the other side of a world?
Sorry if the question is a bit obscure.

They would probably have different acolytes with differing levels of skill, so they would propably have some acolytes in which they could entrust a mission to.

And even if they aren't of the proper skill level, everything's a learning experience, right? And if you don't make the cut... well, then you don't make the cut... and you probably end up dying a horrible death, but hey, learning experience.

I would say it depends on the mission, whether or not it supports their current investigation. In both Eisenhorn and Ravenor, both Inquisitors send their Interrogators on missions of their own at different points in support of the overall investigation.

well that innuendo went no where, i think it says in the codex that acolytes get set on loads of different tasks for the inquisitor, but an inquisitor will use loads of operatives, informants and agents while off world to root out the evil doers

the answer is Yes, No, and maybe.
it depends on the acolyte's skill level.
read the Ravenor or Eisinhorn omnibuses to have examples.
