Just started playing Dark Angels, and there's a few things I need cleared up, if anyone can help.
Firstly- I read in my witch hunters codex DA can be taken as allies, but they lose the Hunt the Fallen rule, which I can't find in my codex. Was that 3rd ed only?
Secondly, it would appear that the codex tells me that everything is wysiwyg. Is that true as Codex>BGB or was that a rule in 4th ed(which I did not play) and now in 5th ed this only applies to Charachters? RAW please, I'm not planning on playing them at any INAT or GW tournys which wysiwyg is strictly enforced.

Yes, that rule doesnt exist in the current DA codex.

If your codex states it must be wysiwyg, then you should be wysiwyg. However most people only really care about non-standard equipment.
