Every man and his dog in the 40k universe seems to have a rite of passage whereby an Avatar or associated eldar get mugged.

If you want to set your fluff apart from the crowd have him besting an Ork warlord, taking on a chaos titan, A whole hivefleet or a c'tan, something different from the norm.

orks seem like a norm to me too. i would do something like hive tyrant, or a c'tan (thou that seems odd), or some kinda chaos demon creature. maybe just some deathworld beast?

The Dark Eldar have webway gates all over the system, apparently using the strong populace as test subjects.
Once, Gabriel tried to track the dark eldar incursions to try to find the source and the auspex showed the system got a pox.

The sanguinus terra are developing a new "Great Wolf" class titan. Prototypes have been seen on the field and have taken out lesser titans in the past.

And also, why would he try to revive both Sanguinius and Horus, they would just kill each other again .

Also it cannot be first founding and have 2 primarchs.

The reason he would try to revive both is that the Sanguinus Terra believe that Horus turned back to being good for the split second before death. Revival would revive this Horus, not the evil one.

It can, as the Blood Angels donated squads to replace the losses. Thus, while remaining a first founding thanks to the Luna Wolves, some of there gene-seed is Sanguinary.

A little bit? I think it is completely hopeless. Not to discourage you, but it is completely not believable fluff.

So it is a first founding chapter, but not the Luna Wolves, and not the Blood Angels, but it has geneseed from both of them? That does not make any sense whatsoever.

And let's not go into that whole Saint of the Emperor killed Avatar stuff. You could teach Mat Ward hyperbole.

Let me give you some advice: if you want something extremely heroic, extremely powerful, extremely extreme, just collect a pre-heresy legion - for example BA or Luna Wolves. Don't try to make up something even more awesome in a fictional universe that is already filled to the point of fatal sickness with uber-mega-extreme-awesomeness. It just makes you look silly.

But above all, choose. Do not try to have a bit of everything. In the end, you will end up with nothing at all if you try that. I have been there.

And there was me trying to be a touch more... delicate.

There are certain things to avoid when trying to write 40k fluff that's intended to be 'serious' (I use that term loosely considering we're talking about a fictional universe). Making your chapter a first founding chapter is one of them...mixing primarchs is another. Merging of Imperial and Xenos tech is another.

Thank you all for your advice. The Sanguinus Terra thread will be Reposted soon with an updated fluff. Hopefully it will be more believable.
