...For mail to get from Australia to North America. I found some incredible value on Ebay a week or two back from a reputable Australian bits re-seller, postage included, and was wondering if other Nor'ams had ordered stuff from That Continent and could tell me how long it took for small packages to arrive. I've ordered stuff from Europe at similar postage prices and it was delivered within the week or fortnight.

Around 4 days to a week normally (bet on a week, be surprised if it takes less time).
Same as for Aus to UK.

I've posted stuff TO the US/Canada before and it never took longer than a week.

Depends on how it was shipped.

I can get Tokyo to Florida next day if I want to pay enough.

It completly depends on the size of the package, the air-mail company they used, and how much you paid for delivery.

The size of the package would be about matchbox sized or so, and I paid ~3-4 australian dollars. I'd imagine a few weeks would be reasonable.

Last package I got from AU took nearly 2 weeks from the post date on the box.
Considering Canadian Customs and the delays that often arise with them, your waith might be up to a month. I've seen US to Canada shipments take that long & longer.
