So, stupid question. I'm starting up Blood Angels, and it's been a while since I've bought a Tac Squad box. Does anyone know how many, if any, pairs of close combat weapons and bolt pistols come in a Tactical Squad box?

I don't believe they include more than just a few, if any, although it's been awhile.

There's just an acre of you fellas, isn't there?

your better off with the assult marines box, then either magnitize the jump packs or sell them.

They come with two actually. So your sergeants can be left or right handed.

I only remember this from building 20 BT Initiates and scrounging around through all my sprues for extra chainswords.

Cool. Thanks for the replies, gents. Looks like I'll be either going with assault squads or bits ordering what I need.

I bought assault marines and used the legs from tac marine sets and sold off the extra bits. Its anoying that you can make non-jump troops without the running legs in the Assault Marine kit.

I would suggest just buying the assault squad...ultimately it will end up being cheaper in the long run and you will have a bunch of jetpacks and other bits that you can use down the road. I purchased chainswords and bolt pistols from ebay...just 5 of them end up being between 7-9$.....just not worth it
