Here are the schemes I am leanign towards:

I am leaning towards the first one, mainly cause I like gold and how it sticks out. The tanks and such I want more silver with battle damage, thus the all silver trim variant.

The second one to be honest, although I would consider changing the helmet to black instead of silver.

The second one looks good, consider it stolen

I have an idea

Use the second one on general troops, and the first one on troops of high standing, I.E. Aspiring champions, generals, chosen and the like

hmm, id say in a chaos army, you could probably get away with using a mixture of both. Chaos isnt as regimented and uniform as SM and it would look pretty good.

4250 points of Blood Angels goodness, sweet and silky W12-L6-D4
1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

Lord Helmet - "I bet she gives great helmet."

Yeah, that is one thign I worry about, all the war stories when it comes to painting red. I was thinking of either going out and buying a airbrush so that I can basecoat things whatever color I wanted or finding some sort of spray paint that is red and good with models. Only problem though is the airbrush method would have to wait for a month before I could start to paint the models as that is likely when I would have the extra funds to go out and buy a airbrush and compressor. And with the spray paint, when I was collecting necrons (I say collecting as that is all that it seems I do, collect 1000 points or so of a army, paint half and then stall) i tried to cheat buy buying a silver spray paint. Sprayed models and then tried to apply a ink wash on them and relalized that the silver spray paint seemed to asorbed the ink in a strange way. So kinda put off using spray paints unless I can figure out a good brand or type of spray paint. Any suggections?
