So I have politely explained to my friend that his multiple rune priests don't both get a chance to negate my psychic powers. However, he stubbornly insists that multiple ICs with wolf tails in a unit, means he gets a roll for each tail.

Doesn't seem right to me, but I can't find the words to explain why. Little help?

You can't find the words because your friend is correct.

Rune Staffs were changed via errata to only allow 1 attempt, regardless of how many are in range, but WTT were not. So a unit with 2 Rune Priests, both with WTT, are targeted by a Power, they get 3 chances to negate it, once with the Rune Staffs and once per WTT.

You don't need to load your question so much you know, especially considering your friend is in the right here.
