Looking to build a 1500 balanced force to take on anything that could be thrown at me around what I currently have HQ Librarian- Null Zone, Vortex of doom 100 Elites x5 TH/SS Terminators with transport LR redeemer with MM 450 x1 Dreadnought MM / SB 105 Troops x10 tac squad RL & Flamer with rhino 205 x10 tac squad RL & Flamer with rhino 205 x5 melee scouts 75 Heavy support Predator TL lascannon x2 Hbolters 130 Predator autocannon x2 Hbolters 85 Fast attack x3 bikers- melta, 100 x1 Attack bike with MM 50 1505, but its just for games at the local store.. The people wont wind being 5 points over. Anything to change? a lot is based around what I have, and was wondering if there were any NO NO's etc.. thanks =] EDIT: Got it looking more like HQ Librarian- Null Zone, ??? termy armor + SS 140 Elites x5 TH/SS Terminators with transport LR redeemer with MM 450 x1 Dreadnought PC / SB 115 Troops x10 tac squad RL & Flamer with rhino 205 x10 tac squad RL & Flamer with rhino 205 Heavy support Predator autocannon x2 lascannon 120 Predator autocannon x2 Hbolters 85 Fast attack x3 Land speeder squadren all MM 180 Its 1500 exact with that... also what would be the 2nd lib power..?

I'm curious as to your plan in regards to the tactical squads? I realize flamers are free but with the Rhino it suggests you'll keep them mobile and in doing so you won't be able to use the rockets. Personal preference, but no power weapons or hidden powerfists in the tacs?
Otherwise it looks like a nice mix of anti-tanks and anti-horde.

Use this squad to mix things up and to keep the eneny thinking about what's going where & why etc. Outthinking an enemy move is often easy, & getting it right if often hard when they turn something nasty on you, more used for objective based games as this is what we play. Most of the guys there have more horde based armys anyway.. Use them for shooting down a few guys, or just letting their number purely hold an advancing unit up for the required amount of turns to win the game if I have enough capture points...

Quite nice list, some things tho.
The TL lascannon is the worst upgrade in the SM codex, it goes especially poor with HB sponsons, take a a normal auto cannon instead of the TLLC.
Also, merge the MMAB with the normal bikes. More abilative wounds as a whole and one less KP. 1 melta is rarely enough to pop a tank so the loss of felxibility is minimal.
Melee scouts without a Landspeeder storm wont achieve much. Either get them a LSS or drop them.
Vortex of Doom is a bad/horrible power on your libby. You can not move and use it (unless you have termie armour).
A MM dread will most likely achieve very little. As I see it you have 3 options, change the weapon config (ect 2xTLAC), get a Drop Pod for it or drop it completly for something else.

Onto the list. Looks alright but I would switch that Dreadnought into a plasma cannon probably, a multi melta is just going to be out of range.
I would drop the Scouts too and get another Dreadnought.
As Tedrur mentioned a Speeder would be nice, a cheap multi melta one would be fine.
Preds would be better with auto/las for anti tank as is cheaper.
I'm not sure on the small Bike unit - would work better with two squads, redundancy and multiple threats  I would ditch them for two Speeders with multi meltas.

I see.
I've never really liked combat squads, they tend to just die for me. But that's why I asked as opposed to gave advice. ^.^
If you're expecting horde armies the Dread would benefit from the heavy flamer imho. With the Redeemer in plain view the only things going to be firing at the Dread will be whatever they have that can't hurt av14 and even then the Rhino's will be a more likely target. If all else fails, pop smoke on it round 1 until you get in range to use the melta or plas cannon. I've always heard running them in pairs does a lot more for their survivability however.

Lascannon sponsons are 60 points, which would be 35 points more for each pred. That would take you to 1485.
I don't understand the weapons on your dread, is RL supposed to be a Missile Launcher? (We have Missiles, not Rokkits like Orks!) If that is the case, you can't have that as your main weapon and it costs 10 points to replace your off weapon. For 105 you get DCCW w/Storm Bolter and a Multi-Melta (I believe TL Heavy Flamer is also free, I don't remember off hand).
You could spend your 15 left over points to give him a decent weapon and then give your libby Melta bombs...
Alternatively (and imo better) you could upgrade just one pred with lascannon sponsons and give your libby terminator armour and a storm shield, making him much tougher.
The last 10 points could be used to give your dread TL Autocannon, Plasma Cannon (my choice) or an Assault cannon.

Heavy Flamer in place of Storm Bolter is 10 points, the Twin Linked Heavy Flamer for the main weapon is either free or 10 points, not really sure off hand. Either way, I don't think that should be where you go (you need a bit of long range punch). The Plasma Cannon or TL Autocannon probably will work better.

Personally Im not a huge fan of paying 40pts for Termie armour on the Libby since I prefer to keep him in the LR when going up against though units with my Termies but YMMV.
Never take speeders in squadrons when you dont have to.
I would also try and outfit both Preds with the same sponsons and seeing how you lack anti horde now I would personally downgrade the aclc pred to a achb pred, for the 35 pts saved get a HF on each of the speeders.
Or simply drop a Speeder and upgrade the two reamining speeders to have HFs and then upgrade the ACHB pred to an ACLC Pred.

Yea I think I will drop the lascannons back for HB.
So just put heavy flamers on the land speeders, and yes they wont be in a squadren.. just for the purposes of saving time i put them like that.
Can i just sit the lib in my LR and use his powers? What would be the 2nd power i use? Null zone and..?

Actually you need some tactical squads as you can't just depend on 2 troop choices. That is a major flaw in your army.

2 tactical squads works just fine in a 1500pts list. Just make sure to play them rather conservatly. As in dont drive them straight up to the enemy lines.
