What're the ultimate cheesy/beardy/god tier Kill Team? Although I'm playing for fun, I want to be aware these lists so I can effectively counter them.

Example - many, if not most, players to be the unbeatable Kill Team...the Doom of Malan'tai list...then I'll nominate what IMHO is a decent counter to it:

Doom of Malan'tai - Eternal Warrior
7 Genestealers - 1 has Feel No Pain, 1 has Counter-attack
@ 188 points

This list is really built on the Doom of Malan'tai's fit for Kill Team missions, which will usually be Infantry-heavy. Already a powerful, durable creature, it actually gets even stronger after each kill. The Genestealers are just tagging along, plus their Rending will be helpful against lists with tanks.

Furioso Dreadnought - choose Scout
w/ Upgrade to Librarian - choose Wings of Sanguinius & Blood Lance
w/ Extra Armor
w/ Heavy Flamer to replace Storm Bolter
@ 200 points

I'm deliberately choosing just 1 Dreadnought to deny the Doom of Malan'tai any souls to feed on. By giving it Scout and Wings of Sanguinius, I'm giving it maximum maneuverability. The Extra Armor gives it greater survivability. At range, it'll use the Blood Lance and Heavy Flamer, then in close quarters it has a Blood Fist and Force Weapon.

The strategy is to try to systematically wipe out the Genestealers 1st. They actually have a slight chance to hurt the Dreadnought if they make their Rending roll.

The Doom of Malan'tai itself actually poses no threat. Its Spirit Leech ability does not work on vehicles and it lacks the Strength to penetrate the Dreadnought's armor. Without any Infantry to consume, it can never get itself to a point where i can hurt the Dreadnought (to my understanding.)

So, there's my example. Remember, for this thought exercise, we're trying to bring up the most extreme Kill Teams, just to prepare against them.

By the way, without infringing GW's copyright, here's a quick reminder on the Kill Team rules - 200 point armies, no HQ or Heavy Support allowed.

And here's another competitive list I've heard mentioned here. Any good counters to it?

5 Bloodcrushers of Khorne - 1 w/ Eternal Warrior, 1 w/ FNP, 1 w/ Preferred Enemy
