Hi guys, i'm contemplating selling off my raven Guard force, it looks pretty darn good on the table and consists of:

* 4x 10 man tactical squads
* 1x 5 man mixed Terminator squad
*1x 5 man Dev squad
* 1x 5 man scout squad
* 1x 5 man assault squad
* 1x captain
*1xRazorback
*1x whirlwind
*2x land speeders
*1x drop pod

I don't know how much to ask for it all? pics of most of it are in my gallery, i'd like to sell in Australia as it would be easier for me (I don't know how else to sell it?) if you are interested or know anyone who may be, please pm me and i'll get back to you pretty quickly!

thanks everyone

Retail cost + $10-15 for each hour spent on modeling and painting?

IMHO, unless your painting is 'eavy metal quality, you may as well just discard it from the equation and figure out what used miniatures are going for. I can count on one hand the number of times I have not stripped a supposedly well-painted miniature for one reason or the other.

Iron Warriors - 4000 points (non-inflated, full FOC)
Black Crusade - 1500 points (non-inflated, led by Abaddon)
Jenen Ironclads (traitor IG/ABG) - 4000 points (non-inflated)

There's about $600-ish worth of mini's there, at a rough add up, i'm thinking it would be suited to someone who likes the army to buy and start out with? it's not a hard and fast RG fluff list so could be played as codex sm as well easily or added onto if they wish.

obviously i'm no 'eavy metal painter but I consider them neat tabletop, and they are not slapped on with paint and together they look nice and weathered, roaming the crumbling buildings of the shattered imperium!

The paint job is enough to take note of, Im thinking closer to $800.

Paint job is rarely worth considering unless it is awesome. It only increases the value if a particular buyer is building a raven guard force.

I would discredit your painting skills. No offence to your painting, I'm sure its great for you, but your standards are going to be wildly different from someone elses. If you really need the money, subtract $100 from the retail price and put that as a selling feature. If your just selling it to get rid of it, I would say go with $700. Your paint job probably isn't going to mean anything to anyone.

Rule of thumb on feebay seems to be to start out at 50-60% retail so that you get bidders. Make sure you take good pictures of your models.
