This will be a heavy Descent of Angels list.
-Astorath will go with the Death Company inside the Stormraven along with the DC dreadnought. I plan on having them disembark the turn after their arrival so that they can assault on that turn.
-Assault Squads go in with a Sanguinary Priest in each, ready to pop any vehicles they land near. Assault anything unit that disembarked in the following turn.
-Vanguards will be tasked with eliminating any Devs/equivalents with Heroic Intervention. This should protect my other squads from some heavy fire and also help the Stormraven enter safely.
-Baal Predators will either Scout or Outflank, I am undecided right now and will probably try both. The Stormraven will add it's own TLAC to their firepower once it arrives.
I realize that I have an awful lot of points riding on one model with the Stormraven, but if all goes well the gunship should be relatively safe when it enters the table and unloads it's passengers.
My only real question right now is on sponsons. Should I remove the Hurricane Bolters from the Stormraven? And on the flip side, should I add the Heavy Bolters to the Baals?
