This is my 300th post, and to celebrate, I thought I would do some random mumbling about where I stand with my hobby projects.

My Eldar pirates, Amarie's Vertigo Tribe, are nearing the 1250-point mark. I just need to finish my second Falcon and I'm ready to go.

My Space Marines, the Void Jackals, are 5 models away from having a complete 1500 points. I'm not wild about Marines, but they were cheap to buy and quick to paint. So quick that I decided to finish them off before I finish that Falcon I mentioned above.

My other Eldar army, the Sunblitz Brotherhood, I am slowly adding to. As I come across old painted Eldar stuff in my archives, I repaint their helmets to match the army. I've added some Swooping Hawks, some Striking Scorpions, and a jetbike Warlock so far. After playing both this army and my pirate army, I think I have a solid 1500 points in these guys that will play totally different than the Vertigo Tribe.

The Wild Hunt is my old 3rd edition Dark Eldar forece, and I wanted to play it a few times before the new Codex came out. I only had the chance to play once, and went down in flames badly. Some things never change lol!

Looking forward, my next army was going to be Tau Empire. However, due to some cash flow difficulties, I have switched gears to a Witch Hunter army, since I have enough odd stuff laying about to do a nice fluffy army minus the Sisters. Hopefully by the time I am done with that, I will be able to invest in my Tau.

My preferred game size is 1250 points. A couple of my friends like it at 1500, and another just doesn't care. But everyone humours me for 750- and 1000-point games while I am building my armies

Seriously, I chose to write it, but you chose to read it, knowing full well it was a "stupid random x amount of posts" topic. I mean, it was the subject line, right?

So, if every person on this forum decides to make a random topic advertising that they've made 'x' amount of posts, and end up flooding the entire forum to the point of becoming useless, it's okay, because I know full well that forum is filled with nothing about 'stupid random x amount of posts' topics.

See, it's like cancer. In small amounts, its harmless, but when you get a lot of those cells, they cause problems. You're like cancer in digital form.

And cancer is my astrological sign!
