So, besides Lexicanum or Index Astartes II, is there any info about him? Thanks beforehand!

Sadly not, but I've seen some minies of him.

All we know is that the guy had his taste buds removed...not sure how you'd represent that on a mini. The Lexicanum article seems to indicate he's something of a lackluster chapter master, the nicest thing it can say about him is that hes "as meticulous a planner as any Chapter Master in the Imperial Fists' history". If the nicest thing you can say is "hes not worse than the last guy" its understandable why there are no ballads in his honor.

Apparently he can tell when people are lying by looking at them... if that helps at all.
He does seem to be a bit fairer than most Chapter Masters as he allowed the Soul Drinkers a fair trial insteadof excecuting tem (i still have hopes that they will be set free and they are claimed to be dead)

Any idea what his equipment is? I Fist alot, and always wanted to field him properly. I'd look myself but I'm on my phone and the browser sucks

Nothing about what he uses but i always thought that the picture of a chapter master in the SM codex(Pg52) is what he would look like.
Bald and with 2 short hafter thunder hammers.
That is personally what i always thought he hould look like BUT there is decent case that he would use a sword as IF have a strange thing about swords. They like them... a lot.
Maybe a Relic Blade and anything else you like the look of.

Yeah, he propably uses a sword. I also imagine always him having a grey beard And a power armour, maybe an artificer armour but no terminator armour. Makes him look more humble.

Lots of beard hair but not much head hair wearing power armour that is covered in devotional inscriptions (Artificer armour) and a two-handed sword (relic blade) that takes the form of a claymore (represents an old terran culture as terra is down as their homeworld) maybe a storm shield that the old scottish highland clans used (small off-hand shield).

I expect Pugh to be killed off in canon, and have Darnath Lysander become chapter master.

TBH I think that actually IS Pugh. He's got a Fist symbol on his shoulder, and it sure as hell ain't Kantor...

He first appeared in the old novel by Ian Watson, titled Space Marine. He had his taste buds excised as a penance for an operation in which the IF took heavy casualties, losing about a company's worth.

He's not bad as a character overall because it shows that not every SM is flawlessly awesome as the caricatures pumped out by Mat Ward.

This was what I was going to say. Space Marine by Ian Watson was his biggest appearance, but that book is somewhat dated in terms of fluff, back to the old days where Space Marines were shock troopers drafted from warrior tribes, hive gangs, prisons, etc and indoctrinated and biologically modified (instead of genetically modified like they are now). It's a fun read, but from a long bygone version of 40K.
