So i always liked warmachine and a bunch of my friends decided to start it up, thu making me decide to strt up my own Khador army...since im new i thought that i would put up What i currently am getting and what im thinking about adding to make it better...feel free to reply with helpful ideas cus i would love the input ^^
So right now i am gonna get in a trade:
-Warcasters-
Butcher of Kardov
Vladimia Tzepesci, Dark Champion
S-Solos-
Man-o-War Kouvnik
-Warjacks-
Maraduer
Destroyer
-Units-
Winter Guard Mortar crew
5x Man-o-Wars Shocktroopers
6x Winterguard infantry
This is what im thinking about adding:
Some bombadiers
a unit of widowmakers
A spiggan and or a Decimater to be Kouvniks jacks
So bombadiers because i always see them in a Maon-o War list to be used as A kinda second wave format, which come in behnd the shocktroopers to hit whats left after the first wave.
Um widow makers, because i thought they would be great firepower defense seeing as how Khador always need the firing support, and they look to be great to pick off any annoying light warjacks they might throw at me.
And the warjacks are just an idea but i actually have no clue what warjack/warjacks to give Kouvnik lol
So any Khador Veterans have any feed back to help that would be totally awsome and much appreciated ^^

I can't speak to bombardiers as the models aren't out yet and haven't seen the stats for them. Going MoW heavy fits in with pButchers theme list.
Decimators are a complete waste of 9 points. Moreso on the Kovnik since it only gets the jack marshal focus. A Destroyer on a Koldun lord goes much much further since he as Jack Marshal + power boost. IMO, you need at least one Juggernaut. That jack is worth it's 7 points plus some.
Widowmakers are not great firepower. In both lists, they will pretty much not see action because you will be advancing to apply axe to face. They may pick off a flanking solo, but there won't really be that much for them.
The Kovnik is really tough to justify in 35 points. He's a jack marshal but he really doesn't do much to help it outside of the drive. To stick with the MoW theme, you'd be further ahead to get a Drakhun since he's a dragoon and skip the Kovnik.

...oh i meant Demo corps not bombadiers lol
okay...i was thinking about a juggernaught because my friend said it was Khadors like most basic Warjack...i just didn't know if going with the basic over the not would be better
Really...i heard they were good to counter act Scryahs annoying jumpy light warjacks like the gorgon along with things like mage hunters.

It's not corrosion you worry about. It's those freakin arc nodes...

Maybe you should first get in some battlebox games. that way you will learn of your caster and their abilities. It is going to be quite difficult to start playing 35 points from the start, but playing a few battlebox games and then adding stuff is more doable.
For Khador battlebox any caster plus a juggernaut and a destroyer will do. (normally sorcha). Cryx have Deneghra or asphyxious, with 3 arcnodes and a slayer.
This will also get you familiar with why nodes are bad
after that ask away if you have any questions....

Have you taken a look at the new warcaster - strakhov? I played against cryx army with him and he did pretty well.
He has a spell called sentry that you can upkeep on any one model. If an enemy model ends it's movement in that model's LOS, that model takes a free shot at it immediately. I keep this upkept on a mortar crew and they end up putting some damage on those light jacks and the hordes of thralls. he can also grant stealth and superiority, both extremely good spells.

Doom Reavers
Hide them behind a Man O War screen, keep non fearless troops away. Perfect countercharge unit.
Man O War lists will get charged unless you take Vlad or Strakhov and time it well. Neither are reliable in this as a canny player will see it coming, you can be occassionally mobile, youir opponent can usually be mobile all the time.
So its fair to assume the opponent will get the drop on you. Man O War can take the initial hit and a second line of Doom Reavers means the opponent doesn't get to capitalise on the first strike.

Doom Reavers are also really nice (along with Manhunters/Yuri the Axe) at countering enemy advance deploy (MHSF for example). Causing terror is really sweet too.
As far as bone jacks go, for the most part just hit them once and you can pretty much wreck it given how strong Khador jacks and melee infantry can hit. Corrosion is just annoying so don't overly sweat it. You've got tons of hit boxes on about everything.

Against Cryx, I like taking the Wardog to deal with Arc Nodes. Keep it in position in front of yoru caster, and if an arc node comes within 6" of it, you can charge it, but NOT use the 'return' rule to bring it back to your caster. Now the arc node is engaged in melee, and can't channel spells.
I'll second Doomreavers against Cryx...they're the perfect Anti-Cryx unit. Can't spell them, they hit like a brick, have high MAT, and beserk can clear out the weedy mass units, like mechanithralls...plus, have magic weapons, so can attack incorporeal. Doomreavers were made to kill cryx.

Oh man, right you are.
My 4th game at a local tourney was my first time facing off against eButcher and TWO squads of DoomReavers...
Very nasty bunch. I wasn't too spell heavy and was fast/ cc oriented so I did kill many, but all it takes are 2-3 to clean things up.
But I was running eGaspy...I lost to time and my opponent getting 1-2 scenario points.
I had Tartarus and 6 bane knights and a clear, no focus, pants dropped eButcher in front of eGaspy..........>>>feth!.<--I say this and mean it.
_)______
Anyway.... MoW are really cool, but sucks vs. stuff like Parasite, Crippling, Withering, cause Spd 2 MoW are just /cry and parasite/withering is just nom nom nom. .

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I honestly can't get behind the UA for the DR's. IMO, I think tough hurts a unit that wants to go fast and beat face cause they are always waiting on a guy to get up. I also usually want them to get the berserk attack off since they mainly get sent after infantry units. Yes, there are times that one poor sop who has already attacked gets whacked by the guy next to him, but that's the price you pay for having a demon weapon chained to you.

Personally, I really like the UA for the Reavers. Bigger command area, Tough, Silence and a spray magical attack. I run three units with the UA, and I never regret bringing them.

I never did look at the doom reavers and they would be a great Addition...It seems they would be even more hurtful if i Run eVladmir as my warcaster.
Which other people i know have been saying that they would rather choose Butcher as my warcaster rather then eVladmir and i don'y know why.

Yea, it's not only boosting, but that extra move.
But generally if eButcher is sitting on alot of rage tokens it's only going downhill from there.

There is a lot of Doom Reaver loving going on.
I personally would urge restraint, one or two squads with no UA. The reason for this is because we are discussing Man-O-War lists, and so its safe to azssume we will be taking Man-O-War as standard infantry. Done properly there just isnt room for Fenris and a horde of Doom Reavers, besides as a counterattack force you dotn need number much. The Man-O-War in front soak very nicely, if anyone tries to get close the Doom Reavers counterattack and mop up. For this role one minimum sized squad is potentially enough, more may be 'better', but then it will rapidly be a Doom Reaver list not a Man-O-War list.
Please remember that while Doom Reavers belong in a Man O War list, Man-O-War do not so easily belong in a Doom Reaver list. Doom Reavers are so fragile they need to get into combat quickly, Man O War make an excellent rearguard but a Doom Reaver list cannot afford that, by the time the slower 'jackmen get into ranfge the fight is already won or lost.
