I recently was given the AOBR orks by a friend, and was busy assembling them when i saw that i was missing the 40mm base for the Warboss.

The person who gave them to me doesn't have the base, he used it on a terminator, so what i want to know is, is there a reasonably cheap way to get a base for the warboss without resorting to online ordering, as i live in South Africa and delivery/shipping will be a problem.

i am trying to avoid buying a box of units that come with a 40mm base, as that would be costly.

I know a few that offer free shipping overseas. GW stores also sell a bunch of extra bases for relatively cheap price (compared to buying another unit for the bases). However I just make my own out of broken DVDs (two DVDs stacked on top of eachother is the exact thickness of the base).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Games Workshop sells a bag that has various different types of bases in it. You might be able to find one for sale if you have a LGS there.(Local Gaming Store)
