I am starting work on a space wolves army, and I'd like the ability to field three full squads of missile launching long fangs. After checking the sprues for my proposed 2000 pt army, I will only have 3 missile launchers from each of the devastator boxes, leaving 12 to the vagaries of my wallet. All of the bitz retailers I have checked are either out of stock or demanding ridiculous prices for cut-to-order bitz (15-16 USD). Has anyone concocted either a good facsimile for a missile launcher or a good way to swindle your "friends" out of theirs?

(For reference, the sites I checked for bitz were BW ($15 USD), Bitz Barn (out) and Bitz Kingdom (out).)

Could get the rocket launchers from the IG heavy weapons sprues and repurpose those.

I actually have an excess of MLs largely due to collecting AoBR marines. Custom made MLs can probably be made from a length of tubing and appropriate muzzels and some guitar wire.

Hunter killer missiles left over from vehicles can work really well and look almost identical.

Did you try bitzbox.co.uk? They usually have good stuff, but they run out quick.

But yea, try and trade your friends or FLGS; those would be your best bet.

I checked out bitzbox.co.uk, they are also out. Good call on the AOBR marine and IG heavy weapon squads--I will keep an eye out on those as well. I live in rural Kansas and don't have a lot of access to a game store, but I'll see if there are any bizarre bazaars happening in the near future. Thanks for the advice.
