Can a warlock in a waveserpent use his destructor power while still embarked?

Same with mindwar and eldritch storm?

Destructor and Mind War both require LOS, as defined by p. 28 of the codex for Mind War, and by the shooting rules for destructor, which is "worked out like a normal shooting attack." Since the wave serpent has no fire points, there's nowhere to draw LOS from, therefore these powers can't be used.

Not sure about Eldritch storm, but AFAIK nobody uses that power, so it's not an issue so much.

There's just an acre of you fellas, isn't there?

Shooting powers still require firepoints, even if LOS is not required.

The serpent has NO firepoints. No shooting powers from inside it, period.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Okay, figured that would be the case.

Thank you for the quick response.
