Tourney coming up, just looking for some advice on any tricks that might be useful for the army. Im pretty experienced with the units and how they work together, but if you have some tweaks or uncommon advice (from your POV not mine) it's welcome.

Do the large units of warriors work well for point denial?

What about finding a few points for the mark of TZ on the second unit of warriors. Seems like a natural fit with the hand weapon/shield combo.

MoN for the chariots? Trying to protect them from shooting?

How does the BSB work? Being on a steed, it seems like it would be hard to protect the figure.

All I can say is good luck with the DP, would love to hear how he works out for you. I'm running my prince for the first time this Monday (@ 2000) and damn excited, even if it's probably against WoC which isn't quite the best match up for him from what I can tell ...

It's really a neat list all over the place: no shadow/death magic, no MoT or MoK warriors (ish ), chariots, chariots with MoN (!), horsemen, etc. I do sort of wonder at the MoN on the chariots, seems like what will be killing them is artillery, unless you figure the DP / horsemen will put enough pressure on said artillery to severely limit them and then take them out. I suppose I still mourn the nerfing of MoN, as it doesn't help them hit the enemy as it used to

Looks interesting. The only question is why is the BSB mounted and not on foot?

That's my main question, too. On the horse gives him a better armour save, especially with that halberd he's toting, but the problem then is he gets no LOS! when he's hit by a cannonball or catapult. I suppose with a good ward save and the Crimson Armour of Dargan he could INVITE people to try to shoot catapults at him and shrug off the wounds, but he'd need to be a lord for that.

Put him on foot. I second the motion for MoT on the second unit of warriors. And if this is for tournament play, I recommend swapping the banner of rage for the mark of khorne and buying the flaming banner. There's always some unit of hardcore regenerating badasses in everyone's army nowadays it seems.

The horse is actually for the armor, oddly I've never had him die to artillery... It does worry me but I feel he's too good in combat to give up. :/

MoT is a good, I could get the points from the MoN... Ive actually played a lot of games with them and the only artillery that's ever managed to kill them is cannons, which is something a DP can deal with. Still the MoN is not essential.

@boss: I love playing with a DP, used carefully they can be supportive and nasty. Remember they don't have good armor but they do get thunderstomp.
