What is the cheapest way to get a seargent with a power swords for cadians?

Chainsword arm, cut of the chain sword and put a sword shaped piece of plasticard in place, to go further add a piece of guitar string or wire or whatever you use to hook it up to a backpack of sorts.

Or buy a plastic toy man with a sword instead of plasticard.

I third the vote for plasticard. Also, this way you can make all kinds of fancy blades like rapiers or sabers for your officers.

Rummage though an old bits box, and you'll find plenty of good potential power weapons. The catachans in particularly have awesome swords that look great painted power-weapony.

Fantasy sabres work very well. A Power weapon is any ornate weapon.

What I use for this is actually a pair of thin steel wire leads going into a laspack on the belt.
