It's on the bottom of page page 93 of the army book, in a little box who's headline says "Battle Standard Bearer".

Yep, the Slaan is still the unique general AND BSB who can also take magic items with a magic banner.

And give up a nice +200 points when killed.

Being ethereal (essentially) makes that tricky...

Luckily WHFB is the game where a combat in which no one dies can still have a winner.

Not that a Slaan vs. 20 guys still doesn't take forever while you wait for the Slaan to fail a leadership test while maybe killing a guy each turn.

Yeah, putting him on a cold-blooded re-rollable 5 or 6 still takes for. ev. er.

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

Nah, there are better banners, like stupid wizards (hilarious to see horror blocks stumbling around...)

And to be honest, cold blooded, stubborn 9 re-rollable has got to be way up in the 99.something% chance of passing.

The odds of a cold blooded LD 9 character failing a check is 5.09% (11 fail results rolled out of 216 possible options). If you have a reroll then the odds of failing goes to 0.26%.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.
