Hi all,
I am looking to get an airbrush or a spray gun, but am not sure what is the best option . I don't want to get anything that doesn't cover the models nicely, so if you have any ideas post them here.

What is your budget?

What are you planning to actually do with the airbrush, are you planning on doing just basecoating or are you looking to advance yourself and start doing colour modulation/zenthial lighting etc with your airbrush?

Do you own a compressor? Are you looking at buying a compressor as well?

If you answer those questions we can help a little more with speicifics, aside from that look at a double action gravity fed airbrush, with an oil-less compressor that has a tank (2.5 to 3L is a good size and not too large).

Airbrushes can range from mildly expensive to ridiculously overpriced. I spent almost $600 AUD on my brush and compressor, although you can get them for significantly less, but I did buy high quality (not the highest) pieces.

Im feeling too lazy to post links....so just poke through some of my older threads and you should find some decent airbrush info. Im a proponent of affordable/practical rather than flashy names/brands.

Well, my budget doesn't really matter, but I'd prefer to keep my budget low for this matter. I do own an air compressor, and all I need the airbrush for is basecoating (advanced techniques would be cool, but I need the airbrushing basics first.
