I play Daemons of Chaos (40k) and i was thinking of converting a Herald of Slaanesh on a chariot. Im just wondering about two things though, first: is a chariot actually worth its points? and second: if i do actually get one, what upgrades should i get for it?

For 90 points you can get a 5 wound S4 rending model with hit and run. I would say it is worth it if you build it this way. A bunch of attacks, a fair number of wounds (with a 4+/5++ save) and a super cheap cost makes for a rather useful model for its points. Keep in mind what is in the rest of the list is important too, as it is a pretty fast unit and can leave its support behind.

Screw the 90 point version. For 65 you get 6 rending attacks, at I7, with 5 EW wounds. Hell for the cost of *a* Greater Daemon, you can get 4 of these

They are great, just realise that without IC protec tion they WILL die if the enemy can reach them. They make excellent suicide / throwaway / distraction units however, and their reach is sufficient to worry most of the board in 2 turns even if you scatter badly.

I wouldnt take them as I'm a Khorne follower, but thats the only reason not to...
