Hey all,

I recently watched 2010's Robin Hood, and was inspired to resurrect my Empire army after I saw the costumes in the movie.

The problem is, Empire soldiers look too clean, like parade ground troops. I'm trying to find models that have simple woolen garb and chain mail. Preferably a company that makes similar models so they line up nicely.

Thank you all for your help,
Thomas

The Orks got to Antiga when my Warboss didn't like the look of the planet floating above his moon, and thought he should teach it 'Not ta stare at da Orkz!'

The Antigan 15th has survived on the simple but effective battle plan that every enemy can be beaten with enough foot soldiers and lasguns.

I'd look into some of the 28mm historical wargames producers. After a little bit of searching, Wargames Factory (http://www.wargamesfactory.com/webstore) seems to fit really well with what you are imagining. Their Saxon line of plastics, combined with some Empire bits for guns and other weapons, would be pretty cool. Actually, looking at them, I think I may use their War of Spanish Succession guys in the future, when I'm working on my Empire force.

Bretonnian Men-at-Arms sounds like what you might like. Wood Elf Archers also look like an army of robin hoods.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
