Try dettol or fairy power spray will do much the same things.

You can buy simple green from their website. It's about £50 for 10 litres IIRC. Reminds me I need to buy a load.

I have to echo the yanks re Simple Green. It's far better than dettol.

I did see you can buy in from the website, it just seems a little pricey! I also heard Dettol isnt very good.

It is pricey. But it works extremely well. If you have a lot of stuff to strip regularly, it may be worth thinking about the industrial size containers of it rather than the little bottles.

I use the Brown Coloured Dettol all the time and it has worked perfectly every time even with ridiculously thick applied paint.
