Hey Y'all
Next week looks like a big one for tournaments in NorCal.
Along with Black Diamond Game in Concord & Hobbytown in Petaluma (already posted on their own thread)
I would also like to point out two other events on Saturday 11/13/2010:
3000 point Warhammer 40K Team tournament:
3000 point doubles tourney $5 entry fee per person
Each team member will bring a 1500 point leagal army(ie.1HQ 2Troops per player)Sign in will start at 10:30am. There will be prize support
Players who pre Pay/Register by Nov.10th will get 5% off Gw Purchases the day of the tourney
Get Signed up now space is limited!!!

This is all I know of this event, contact store if interested.
And also:
Great Escape Games in Sacramento is running a 2,500 point 40K tournament.
Max players: 78
Rounds 3
2.5 hours per round
Sign-in:9am, games start 9:45
Fee: $15 (might be $20, I forget)
This is a comp (0-40), Paint (0-20), Sport (0-33), battle (15-60) tournament.

yeah, or even one or two a month! Maybe they should make a tournament calendar for the area so that this doesn't happen again.

Maybe someone could make a bay area forums? I know the Fresno down to Bakersfield area has a forum they all use, for something just like this. They even schedule events at each other's stores!

Not a bad idea. Someone skilled with computers should do it haha. But ya, its to bad they werent separated on different dates. I would have liked to been able to attend the doubles tourney.

If it's any comfort, I got married on the 13th 6 years ago, so I won't be going to any of these, either. (And I'm going to miss GK's on the 6th, too.)

This is the final bi-monthly installment in the year-long tournament season for us at Great Escape Games. 40K falls on odd months, WFB on even months. Tournament days usually fall on the 4th Saturday in the month (except holidays like Thanksgiving) and there are prizes for individual tournaments (90 Overall, 50 for general, etc) and prizes at the end of the year (225 for overall season, 50 for 100% attendance, etc).
