Our local gaming group is about to start another "Tale of Many Gamers" paint and play tournament, this time for Warmachine/Hordes. All the participants start with a battlebox/warpack or equivalent points, and will slowly build up to a 35-pt force.

I decided to play Trollbloods as I love the models, and I went with Gunnbjorn for my warcaster because of the awesome model...who can say no to a troll in a military uniform carrying a BFG? Also, as this tournament is more for fun than hardcore competition, I didn't feel compelled to pick one of the "competitive" casters like Grissell or Borka.

For the first round, I went with Gunnbjorn, a Bomber, and a Slag Troll. Painting doesn't start until the 7th, but here they are, ready to start:

The Gang:

Gunnbjorn:

Slag Troll:

Bomber:

It's a troll whelp. When he's painted it will be more clear...he's holding onto a handle for dear life, and has a torch to light the fuses to the bombs.

Some day when I make a guard army that Gunnbjorn model is going to make such a cool looking ogryn conversion.

I really liked what you did with your last TOMG, Can't wait to see how you paint these guys up? Are you going with the standard horde's look, or a different theme.

To fill out the 15 points for the second round of the Tale of Many Gamers Warmahordes tournament, I've added a unit of scouts. Next round I'll be adding a unit of Bushwackers, bringing my Gunnbjorn list to tier 2.

Here's the scouts:

I love blasty, although I almost thought it was a model using beer kegs for weapons.

They are beer kegs. Trollblood brew just happens to be highly flammable...

Thanks for the compliments from everyone! Yes, I could really use a better camera...but who can afford one when you're using the money to buy more miniatures?
