Erm... while that is certainly a mighty haul, may I ask what your intention was by posting it here? While it's certainly an "army list" by the definition of the words, it's not really a list that would fit into any commonly-accepted point limit of any sort.

Because, think of apocolypse style Fantasy games, it would be like they are in the books, hordes of rats stumbling over each other to reach the victims of there teeth

MiloticMaster, that's impressive! However, I'd re-think the name of it and maybe even edit the title of this thread... anything referencing the "Klan" is considered to be really serious (and seriously bad) around here... (unless it's referencing something else I'm not aware of in Australia)

Now, back on the subject of army lists... what would you plan on bringing to things like a 2000 or 2500 point game?

With this many clan rats, you could do a crazy slave list. I wonder just how many you could fit into 2.5K or so?? Would be crazy...

I'm thinking something like this for 2500:
- Seer on bell w/ skalm, scroll
- Chieftain BSB w/ survival gear
- 1-2 huge units of rat ogres (like 8-10 RO + max packmasters)
- 2 Doomwheels
- Enormous hordes of slaves/clanrats with the rest of the points

Definite possibilities!

Pure, undiluted insanity. If you ever assemble and paint all that, you are required, by international warhammer law, to post pictures and give us a link.

And I think you'd need special magic phase rules to be able to use 10 grey seers, when one can easily consume all 2D6 dice on his own...

Would love to see a pic of it all even in its current state . If that's even possible!

The real issue with the 10 grey seer thing is you give each 4 spells... except there is only 12 spells to choose from? so the final 9 go without? since you cannot double? and they do not get the whole list? Atleast that is my understanding. No rat knows the whole lore which stinks, also stinks we cannot take spells off the regular lists... do you know how many empire wizards I would torture then eat for that power.... How many do they have?

I expect to see this army fully painted.

And that's about the same amount of infantry any self respecting orc and goblin player has sitting on their shelves...

EDIT: The 10 doomwheels is nice though, would like to see them lined up in a game...err, even though 4 is the current max, until Legendary Battles comes out...

The sheer amount of painting you have ahead of you will haunt my dreams forever. On another note: nice find on ebay! I've bought a goblin hero or two for only 1 american dollar before but to get what you got THAT cheap is unheard of.

No offense meant but do you know anything about non 40k Warhammer? Cause you've given 40k headings to your list. other then that I suggest using some of your clanrats as slaves, in 169 units to go 13x13 in true skaven tradition.

I've bought 3 IoB's to start my skaven army and just to assemble and clean all took me like a week.
Now when i'm starting to think how to paint them i get really scared
I don't think you will paint even half of yours - 800 clanrats/slaves, 200 monks? Totally crazy but pure awesomeness

See about finding yourself a spray gun and spray prime them all a color that matches your army, that wahy they may not all be painted but at leat they won't stand out as much as black primed or bare plastic against a handfull of painted models.
