Art of War will be hosting a unique event this weekend encompassing all game systems. We'll be opening at 1:00pm on Friday, and will stay open until 7:00pm on Sunday. That's right - 54 hours of solid game and hobby time. The store will be open and available for anyone during this time, and anyone is encouraged to stop by, watch the madness, and play a game or three.

As to the madness...

The point of this weekend is to do an Army in a Weekend. What is this you ask?

The idea is that you devise a list for an army for any game, let us know what you need to assemble this. Then we order the entire list in for you with a sizable discount. Anytime after we open on December 17th you can arrive and pick up your army. For the next 54 hours you are encouraged to stay at the store, socialize, and assemble - prime - and paint your chosen force. We will be providing different forms of entertainment throughout the weekend as well as working with local restaurants to make sure food will be available into the late hours.

So, in recap:

1) Devise a force for any game system.
2) Come to Art of War and place an order for that force.
3) Arrive on Friday, December 17th and receive your new force.
4) Enjoy 54 hours of continual gaming and hobby time.
5) Leave Sunday evening with a new, fully painted army.

The fine print:

All orders need to be received before Thanksgiving so that we can make sure to get any hard to get pieces. We will try our hardest to make sure your entire force is there on the start date. All orders will also need to be prepaid for before Thanksgiving. We want to provide this sale while still maintaining our stock levels. The discount we are offering is sizable, and is greater than anything we are able to mention on the web.
