that thing is very imperial fist-like...nice job!
Any chance of a raven guard one? Or do I have to convert my own?
I know it doesn't fit with the fluff, but it'll be so cool!

BTW if you weren't making one specially for my sons of corax i'd definitely buy the BA one. I love assault cannons, and flamestorms, and mega-bolters. This has all three!

Well most chapters are specialists at something- ultrasmurfs are all-rounders, so probably yes.

well, what are ultramarines specialised at? Nothing. They're all rounders. Maybe if you wanted something cool, get the ironbreaker for seiges, or the raven guard one for anti-tank. I'll post the updated rules soon.

Lycaeus stealth tank hunter- 650pts
AV 13/13/12, BS4
hull/turret mounted corvus heavy cannon:
SD, AP1, range 96", heavy 1.
Hull-mounted vanquisher cannon and twin-linked heavy bolter.
2 sponsons, each with twin-linked heavy bolters/flamers and lascannons.
targeter jammer field- When shooting at the lycaeus tank hunter, the unit shooting counts as shooting during night-fight.
outflank (controlling player may choose which table edge)
Co-axial lascannon (72" range)
May take:
two additional sponsons, each with a lascannon and a twin-linked heavy bolter/flamer for +100pts.
locator beacon for +25pts
lancer heavy cannon for +75pts
hull mounted lancer heavy cannon:
S10, AP1, range 96", Heavy 1, lance, constant beam, overheat.
constant beam- choose a point on the table 96" away. Any model on that line suffers a hit. Void shields absorb the impacts of single shots- when under a constant beam, void shields quickly collapse. When shooting at models with void shields, the first void shield is removed automatically. The second is removed on a 4+. The third is removed on a 6+. If there are no void shields left, after this, the model take the above hit.
Overheat- Sometimes the cannon does not get sufficient time to cool between shots, causing an overheat. If you roll a 1 to hit, on a 4+, the cannon counts as being shaken.

Okay dakka- as the raven guard fellblade is based on the shadowsword chassis, should it be called a falchion instead, which is more of a self-propelled gun? Or should we just stick with a fellblade? Automatically Appended Next Post: Post here so we can see:

Lycaeus falchion tank hunter- 675pts
AV 13/13/12, BS4
hull mounted corvus heavy cannon:
SD AP2 96" range heavy 1, constant beam.
constant beam- The corvus cannon is able to fire a shearing energy beam at its target for a prolonged amount of time, capable of stripping away energy shields and reducing the heaviest armor to molten slag. Roll to hit as normal. If the target has either Power fields or Void shields the first shield is automatically penetrated, the second is penetrated on a 4+, and the third on a 6+. If all the shields are penetrated or the target has no shields it is hit using the weapon's profile. If 1 is rolled to hit or during shield penetration the Corvus cannon overheats and causes a shaken result on the main gun.
Hull-mounted vanquisher cannon.
hull-mounted twin-linked heavy bolter.
2 sponsons, each with twin-linked heavy bolters/flamers and lascannons.
Targeter jammer field- When shooting at the lycaeus tank hunter from more than 12" away, the lycaeus tank hunter recieves a 4+ cover save.
Outflank (controlling player may choose which table edge).
Co-axial lascannon (72" range).
May take:
two additional sponsons, each with a lascannon and a twin-linked heavy bolter/flamer for +100pts.
locator beacon for +25pts.
command tank for +25pts.
I'll make some fluff soon.

No, the inquisition held together the galaxy.
they only ended up the largest because no-one died because no-one fought.
their geneseed makes up 1/3 of all chapters because their primarch wrote the book that told everyone to split.
They didn't have good plan- they just happened to be at the right place at the right time (On ultramar- other side of the galaxy, during the heresy).
No geneseed is 100% perfect. I doubt there has not been a single heretic ultramarine in 10,000 years.

Your options are:
a) wait for machinator to make one.
b) buy one of machinator's existing ones.
c) make your own.
d) give me the money, and I'll buy you one. Honest.
e) don't get one.

Can't wait for the next fellblade- The DA one, to me, sounds like:
plasma cannon instead of HB sponsons
plasma cannon instead of lascannon sponsons
plasma blastgun (main gun)
executioner cannon (secondary- where the demolisher cannon should be)
So a lot of plasma.

Plasma Blastgun.
Yeah, I thought about using plasma guns in place of the TL heavy bolters but I thought that would be overkill.
I have a unit consisting of 8 captains, shrike, korvydae, a chapter master, 3 librarians, 3 chaplains, a cheif librarian and 10 vanguard veterans, equipped with 6 TH/ SS, 4 LC's. The unit has FNP, furious charge, fleet, stealth, infiltrate, fearless, hit & run and either jump packs or bikes. 2 TL plasmagun sponsons is not overkill.
I reckon:
sponson plasmaguns
top-sponson plasma cannons
plasma blastgun
executioner cannon

It seems OP, but if you have a blastgun, 6 plasma guns and an executioner, I'd make it 700pts plus, considering that most 40k players are MEQ.

okay ,so against tactical marines, this thing would kill:
12 shots
8 hit
10 hit- TL
8 wound
8 dead marines per turn/2 dead carnifexes.
oh and the executioner would kill about 2 marines per turn.
and the blastgun...ouch.

If you buy each bit enough to make a fellblade (inc. the baneblade), how much would it cost?
tank mega-pack- $85
turret mounting plate- $5
how many wheels?
P&P- $7.50
baneblade- $100
(That's $197.50, or £125-ish)

So baneblade- $100
kit- $65
$165, and then you get baneblade cannons, lascannons, heavy bolters, and demolisher cannons for the bits box!
That's a good deal for a 600pt super-heavy.
