Alright, I am thinking of buying more scouts, but I want assault scouts. My question to you dakka is: Do you know, or where can I find out the contents of the Space Marine Scout box? (Bonus points if you can tell me if it comes with a powerfist

)

I can't tell you for sure, but this is an excellent question. Is there any site out there that lists the contents of every box? I recently bought some scout biker, and I wasn't sure what I was gonna get in the box.

More to the point of your question, have you tried thewarstore.com? I tend to make most of my orders from there, and sometimes they show pictures of the contents of the box. I hope I'm not violating any forum rules by plugging my favorite GW orders website, I'll take this post down if I am, just tryin to be helpful.

i don't belive the scout box has a powerfist if your trying to make an assault scout i'm almost sure that the assault squad has one?

Well in my Space Wolf Battleforce (Which contained scouts) it had Bolter, Bolt Pistol and Shotgun options, a Heavy Bolter, 5 Legs, 5 Torsos, 6(?) heads, a few additional extras such as rope(!!!!!!!) and that was pretty much it etc.
In the Space Wolf Battleforce at least, there was no power fist. You'll definitely get the CCW's but I don't think there's a powerfist.

Hope that helps, someone will be able to tell you with more certainty and Gwar! amongst some others were creating a Sprue-catalogue IIRC so you may wish to look that up?

I think the plain scout box has options for a HB, bolters all round, shotguns all round, or BP and CCW all round.

At least thats what came in the SM battleforce

The regular box of scouts comes just like Ma55ster_fett said. Although I believe its only enough to outfit 4 scouts with shotguns, bolters etc. and the fifth has to be the heavy bolter.

Correct - four bolters, four shotguns, four combat knives, one chainsword, five pistols, one heavy bolter.

IG powerfists work nicely for scouts.

It contains:
4 combat blades (sword type things)
5 bolt pistols
4 shotguns
1 chainsword
5 boltguns (or 4)
heavy bolter
a load of equipment, grenades, ect.
No power fist.
