So I have completed the Techmarine I was planning to use as my avatar for Deathwatch. I used bits from Dark Angels, Chaos, Imperial fists(my chapter is a Fists successor Chapter) and a chopped up(and repositioned) servoarm from an old Techmarine model that I didn't like.
I apoligize for the pad picture's, but the only camera I have access to is in my phone.

I like the mini, love the color scheme and bits.

Might be easier to take pics with the mini on a table than having to steady both your hands, that might account for some of the blurriness.

Yes, my friends and I have been playing Deathwatch. And I do enjoy it. It's very much the same ruleset as Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader, which is quite simple to learn. The game is easier to learn then D&D, but no less enjoyable. At the moment there are not any published rules for DIY chapters, but there will be rules for creating your own chapter in an upcoming book Rites of Battle, which should be coming out early next year.
