I personally prefer flamers in 3 man units and would recommend 2 x 3 rather than 1 of 5, be able to strike at 2 different units. 3 are usually enough to put a hurting on any unit you choose. That being said, some icons to get them to land spot on are incredibly helpful as you have to drop them in close to benefit from their best weapon. I'd try and get some more bolts on the table also by splitting the horror units into smaller ones and adding bolts. Once you are in hand to hand, you're done though. Daemons of a single entity rarely do well.

Meh, I'm a Math sort of guy. I play against the Nid's mainly and I find that Warpfire out of the 135 Shot's from the 45 Horrors that about 40-50 Hormaguant's die effectively ending any chances of getting past 4+ Inv.

I would like two squads of 3 Flamers but the only problem is where can I get the points?

Isn't Instrument of Chaos in 40k (e.g. it a waste of points)

try loosing Boon of Mutation and Instrument of Chaos. That will give you exactly enough points to field another Flamer. Boon wont work that well against Tyranid MCs and is rather useless to use it on gaunts. Instrument, like ThatMG said, is worthless.
