I am trying to think of a company name or a background for my Space Wolf Army and I was hoping you guys can help.
Well This is not a very good picture but here is three of my Wolf Lords.

Spoiler:

Now, I am thinking of something along the lines of them being a part of the Space Wolf Army that has a main setup Probably on the most southern part of Fenris.
( I have no idea what the planet is like or where the people from there actually are.)

Whom did not agree or had different ideals about combat or how things should be done so they split basically! Changing their Shadow Grey,Space Wolf Grey colors to Fenris Grey.
Their Main colors are Chaos Black, Fenrist Grey and stuff like Tin Bits and Bolt Gun Metal. Their Symbole is basically made from a black background and mechrite red colored with red ink to make a shinny deep blood red color.....Still need to work on the eye's. Than you know I go over it with a blue wash to deepen the color and pretty soon I will light dry brush on white to make them look more frosty.

The stuff I kinda want to use or am thinking of as far as army set up is something like, Lots of Tough Guys and special Weapons! Long Fangs with the best long range cannons and even the Grey Hunters have powerfists and Plasma guns or Flamers in each squad. They use a good mix of both close and long range weapons together.

I am also thinking of using bjorn and venerables so maybe they are Bjorn Worshipers? Like they worship the Great Bjorn as an Equal to that of the Emperor?

So any Ideas people?

Fenris has only 1 continent which has the bigass mountain on which has been hollowed out and used as a fortress (The Fang).

It's a better idea to say they went out on a great hunt for Russ and got lost after a warp storm or some astronomical event.
(The great hunts are a tradition where basically the entire chapter minus a garrison leaves Fenris and goes looking for Russ, needless to say heroic things happen and eventually they all come back and sing bout what they did)

The Long Fangs and Grey Hunters can be explained through the fact that they have been away for a long time and so haven't been able to get new guys in.

IMO don't make them worship Bjorn. SW push it as it is apparently so making them actually worship someone else is a bad idea. But it's your army so go ahead if you want to.

And as a final note i really like your Wolf Lords keep it up and good luck.

Ok. here we go. *cracks neck*
Basically you could just say they have been away from the main chapter for like 2,000 years and have since moved on with their great company and they have started their own chapter basically and they call themselves the lost wolves.
Of course they could also of been lost due to being left behind during assaults on space hulks or something like that and they could of just been thought dead and the bodies were never found but they still lived with many others. And it could be a collection of wolves that are from different companies.
I'm just shooting off ideas.

Personally i'd stay away from the whole formed a new chapter thingwith SW as some people will have a go at you.

Also for a name most SW great companies take their names from their Wolf Lord e.g. Bob Simth's Great Company.

You're describing a Lost Company. They exist in fluff, they definitely do not hang around Fenris. Companies are lost in any number of ways - voluntarily leaving, getting sucked into the warp and deposited in unknown space, thought to be destroyed in battle, etc. Those that renounce their oaths to the Great Wolf are renegades, and will in all likelihood be hunted by the Imperium. Those that are separated from the Fang due to circumstances beyond their control and decide not to return are regarded as the same.

York/London(for weekends) oh for the glory of the british rail industry

For names, SW great companies take the name of their wolf lord, and take a wolf symbol from fenrisian mythology such as the blackmane wolf, double-headed wolf, iron wolf and thunder wolf. these are then chiseled into a stone and put on the great annulus (made of the 12 great companies, a 13th to remember the lost and a central stone to show who is the great wolf).

As for the back story it doesn't make much sense due to the geography of fenris, how induction happens in the SW and the chapter's traditions, they wouldn't worship bjorn as thats just one step to being a traitor (and SW really don't like that).

The idea of them being lost due to the warp is a far better fluff way of presenting the army, the models are ace as well.
