I have heard alot about tyranid primes and i'm wondering if there a regular warrior just upgraded or hes a completly differnt model?

Its pretty much the Alpha Warrior of a warrior brood (hence its special rule alpha warrior)

So a warrior with distinctive markings can pass off as one

It's pretty easy to make a reasonable "counts-as" prime. Just make sure it's clear which one it is.

The only one I have ever seen was a regular warrior with Carnifex Scything talons and it almost looked good. There is no official model yet, so just go with your coolest looking warrior.
