So having been browsing P+M logs for the last month or so, I thought I best make my introductory post!
I am Andy, living in Cheltenham,
UK and have been away from Warhammer (
WH40K, Rogue Trader specifically) for nearly 20 years! I'm a Dad to 6 kids (yes, 6) so you can see what happened to my free time
Recently, my 10 year old son started playing
WH40K with a friend of his from school, and I climbed up into the loft to pull out and dust off my old Eldar army (and 20 yr old Citadel paints!) to show him that I also used to play and enjoy the Warhammer universe. Well, the old figures of mine certainly brought back a lot of nostalgia. I accompanied him to our local
GW store, and before I knew it, I was buying some new Eldar figures
So here I am, 5-6 months later, having had the Eldar battleforce set bought for me for my birthday, and having attended Games Day (for the first time ever) last month. You could say the bug has well and truly bitten me again!
So hello one and all, I've been reading the painting and modelling forum avidly, picking up tips from the threads there and attempting to apply them to the figures I am now painting. When I can find a decent camera, I'll get some pictures of my army up there for C+C.
