Do the las/plas function as one weapon or 2 seperate ones
I have been playing (for my blood angels) I can fire both when moving 12 inches
but if the weapon is destroyed I lose both
Am I playing this correctly?

In short - no. They're two weapons and have no rule that would make them act as one.

I believe they covered it in one of the GW faqs, can't remember what one but they are counted as 2 seperate weapons.

It's two, which is both good and bad. Less vulnerable to weapon destroyed results but can only fire both when stationary (unless you're blood angels).

? Even if it was combined you'd still only be able to fire one, its all good.

This one:

Q. If a Razorback armed with a lascannon and
twin-linked plasma gun suffers a weapon
destroyed result, does it destroy both (ie. the
lascannon and the plasma gun) or just one?
A. Only one weapon – either the lascannon or the
twin-linked plasma gun.

If it did count as a single weapon (like some people believe) then you'd be able to fire both together (which is why some people seem to believe it....)

Again no. If you're moving a combat speed you can fire one weapon + deffensive weapons (not fast/walker of course) and It's still two weapons, even if it was built in.

What?we are saying if it were "ONE WEAPON" you could fire it at cruising speed, which is true, youre saying one weapon magically becomes 2 when you shoot? nope.

But yea, its 2 weapons as shown already multiple times.

This really. An easier way to think it, is the Soul Grinder's Maw cannon. Does it get to shoot all 3 weapons at once?

ps: the answer is no. But it would be damn awesome if it could :(

edit, typos >.<

It’s a plasma gun and a Lascannon. If it was a Lascannon with a built in plasma gun it would still be both fired as both a Lascannon and Plasma gun. The only difference is that built in weapons are destroyed when the main gun is lost. The only way is if you had a line (like Fury of the Wolf Spirits) which say they are fired together.

Unless you're Blood Angels and your vehicle happens to be Fast which allows you to move 6" and still fire everything...............................................
