Its the final bit that says for example Assault 3, now i know assault means that i can charge in to an enemy unit if im within 6 inches of the unit. its the 3 that confuses me, is that how many dice i roll for that weapon by itself?? or have i got it wrong?

3 indicates how many shots you get, so yes how many dice you would roll for it.

As i thought, but this leads to another question, My Tau Sky to be exact.

The rules for Seeker missiles are on page 30 of the codex. They're fired one at a time, and the vehicle carrying them has no control over them itself.

Okay i seem to have been playin my sky ray wrongly then :S

So i need to use a markerlight equipted on the squad i presume, and then say that the seeker missile is goin to the marked squad??

Skyray is a little different than Standard Vehicle-Armory Seeker missiles.

I mean they are mostly the same, but still different.

The 2 networked marker lights allow it to Fire up to 2 of it's own Seeker missiles(And the target lock allows those 2 Missiles to possibly fire at separate targets, assuming the markerlights are fired at and hit 2 different targets).
