I'm putting together a wych cult style Defldar list and was wondering if harlys in a venom would be worth taking

Well, Harlies cannot have a dedicated transport while the Venom is one.
This means that you have to get a unit, say Wyches, and give them a transport.
This transport can then be taken by the Harlies.

Frankly, Harlies have no place in a raiding party of DE.

What you could do is to take a unit of Trueborn and give them 2 dark lances.

sounds good. I dont have the codex as of yet and thought it was a FA choice lol would you say that they were worth taking at all. I say cos my elfdar armys now very fast and mobile so the harlys dont have much of a place there (then again, so is my delfdar army)

Harlies in an open topped vehicle so that they can charge out of the vehicle could be pretty interesting to play.
They don't need a Shadowseer if in a vehicle.
