Okay, dumb question, but none of my friends really place Space Wolves.
On the description for a runic weapon it says "whenever an enemy model succeeds on a psychic test within 24" inches, the power is nullified on a 4+, wounds daemons on a 2+ no effect on vehicles blah blah"
So, are Furioso Librarians immune?

I'm going to vote no they are not immune to the power nullification. There's all sorts of problems that arise once you give vehicles the ability to use psychic abilities (see several recent hotly argued topics), so you need to "interpret" the rules a bit more than normal (at least, IMO).

This is an easy on IMO. Runic weapons are space marine weapons, so yes, they affect everything in vehicles. If this was a xeno ability, it would not affect anything in vehicles. You can apply this to any army.
More-over, if the ability affects 2 marine players, then they cancel out and both players do a happy dance for buying GW's chosen armies.

I would have to say that RAW, the furioso is immune. The rule clearly shows how it is activated and works, and then gives clear exceptions. Vehicles are not effected. Furioso is a vehicle.

i would say the furioso is clearly not immune, it is "model" using a psychic power. The part referring to vehicles will mean in close combat since at the time the space pups codex was released no vehicles could use psychic powers.

Context is everything. THe final part is about wounding, not about nullifying psychic powers. Furioso is NOT immune.

The actual line "This special ability has no effect on vehicle models" comes immediately after that statement that the Runic weapon always wounds Daemons on a 2+.
To my reading, then, 'this special ability' would seem to be the Daemon wounding effect, not the entire Runic Weapon rule... Which is possibly just intended to clarify that it doesn't work on, say, Chaos Vehicles with Daemonic Possession.
As such, the Runic Weapon's other effect (nullifying Psychic Powers), would affect vehicles casting psychic powers as normal.

I laughed.
Not because I think it is incorrect, mind you, but I laughed.

With the change in wording I am inclined to agree with Insaniak and others. The way the OP stated the rule and the actual wording makes a differance.
