Pretty close...the only thing I think he has a problem with is The Nightbringer only cause he ignore invulnerable saves.

Without question it's Ghazghull.

If you're thinking about non-special characters, biker boss is pretty hard to beat. Personally I like Big Mek + Burna + Attack Squig + Heavy Armor. That's 5 str 5 power weapon attacks on the charge, and only 75 points, though in practice KFF is a better way to use a big mek.

If you are talking Ghaz vs any other HQ in a straight fight, his biggest problem is that his 2+ invul only lasts a max of two combats.
His other problem is that he is not fearless.
I never ran the numbers but just rolling it out over and over, Ghazz vs a Wolf Lord with a three up invul. The Wolf Lord usually won. Ghazzy either died or ran away when he lost fearless.
Which btw if I were to change anything about Ghazz I would make him fearless all the time.

I am assuming your talking about a Wolf Lord on a Thunderwolf with Saga of the Bear armed with a thunder hammer and storm shield which is more expensive than Ghazghkull. It's gunna come do who gets the charge off.

Though unorthodox, I completely agree with you here; the 'ard big mek with burna & attack squig makes a great leader for meganobs in trukk be because the mek can bulster up morale with the bosspole and provide some power weapon assaults at I4 prior to the power klaws' arrivals.

Oh, and it's six attacks on the charge: base three + attack squig + pistol + charge = six. Sweet.

Zogworts squig attack really is something that shines. If I know someone is bringing Calgar, you damn right my HQ is suddenly Zogwort lol.

Hardest is hands down Ghaz, the guy is a friggin runaway train with a cowcatcher made of pure badassery.

Non SC, Id say a mega boss has alot of potential, and Ive used that with a 4 meganobs to just mulch most things.

A super cheap HQ Ive used in the past is a boss/cybork/attack squig/big choppa/bosspole
yea yea yea I know what your saying, but a big choppa? Its a non power weapon, weapon! yes it is. I dont use that guy to take on troops. BUT What he does do rather well is F up dreds/low rear armor like no ones business. 6 str8 attacks on the charge? Yes please. and its under 100pts. He rocks in low point games where haing as many bodies, or points spent else where is crucial
