Hail!

I have been reading the Horus Heresy books and I am just about finished with Fulgrim. I know that "Horus Rising" - "The Flight of the Eisenstein" are all linear (and I've read them all), but I don't know which book to pick up next!

I have "Legion" and have already read "The Thousand Sons".

I don't really care that much about the Dark Angels book, but if there is a really good reason to read it, I'm open to buying it.

First Heretic is awesome, Legion yo uhave but I cant recommend highly enogh. Give Battle for the Abyssmal Book a miss, the second DA book is interesting, but relies on you knowing the characters from the first - whcih was fiarly dull.

To be honest I like pretty much all of them - none of them have got past the drop site massacre yet, so order shouldnt be too much of an issue.

Almost all of the novels are worth reading IMHO. The only one I would say you really, definitely, full-stop-don't need to get is Battle For The Abyss.

Nemisis, Eisenstein, Descent of Angels and Fallen Angels are fairly hit or miss/ all or nothing books, in that it really varies between people. IMHO though they were all fairly average.

I'd definitely advise the first 3, Legion, A Thousand Sons, Mechanicum and Fulgrim at the least. Tales of heresy is also quite enjoyable and has a mixture of its good and its bad.

Finally, as Nos has said, First Heretic is awesome. Absolutely brilliant.
So considering you've read most of the novels I would have recommend you, I'd suggest Mechanicum or First Heretic and Tales of Heresy afterwards.

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."
