I have left my codex at work so the exact wording does escape my mind but I did have a look before leaving.

1st Q. Two tyrant guard make there own unit. A Tyrant or Swormlord can join it if they choose, and may not leave it later as said by the FAQ.

I guess this raises my question, do they have to start together on the board and then "join" like an IC during later truns?
If this is the case could I then potentially join a Warrior prime to the Tyrant Guard 1st then have the Tyrant jump in after?
I am personally expecting a no, but I am hoping ot be surprised

2ns Q. Parasite of Mortrex, has the implant attack, on a roll of 6 it causes instant death no test required (other than wound roll).
If it happens to instagib say a 4 wound model, is that 4D6 im rolling for rippers? and is that one massive unit or 4 separate?
And am I mistaken in it having 1 set of rending claws and nothing else, no gun talons claws anything?

They do not have to be deployed together, however CAN be deployed as a single unit so the HT is a member of the unit as the game starts.

You could also join the HT to the Guard and then jouin the Prime.

Parasite has exactly what is listed. If it does not list scything talons it doesnt have them.

If you cause 4 wounds, and ID causes X wounds where X is wounds left on a model, then you would create 4D6 ripper swarms. You would then need to look at the nid codex to see if this is seperate or not - my gut is one big unit.

1st one is answered, on the second one, I don't have the codex in front of me, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to add a d6 count of rippers for each model removed, rather than each wound taken. I think it also requires a toughness test. So in your scenario, you'd still only get 1d6 rippers for that model.

All rippers created in the same assault phase are a single unit.

This is correct.

The Tyranid Prime is an Independant Character. So yes, he can join the unit, before or after the Tyrant joins makes no difference.

The Implant Parasite rule says to roll for each model removed, not for each wound. So it would be one roll. And yes, one unit, as it also says in the rule.

Yup, that's all it has listed.
