Id like to get some ideas as to what models to use for the body guard characters in the imperial guard command squad.....pictures appreciated

Sergeants from the regular IG infantry box are fine. Really anyone with a laspistol and chainsword. I use my old stormtrooper sergeants.

Use the witch hunter crusader henchman, cut & paste appropriate wargear and you are golden

I kit bashed a guard sergeant to use las pistols akimbo and have a large sword on his back. It looks cool enough.

The door gunners from the Valkyrie are a little more bulky and wearing different armour. They're also in standing around poses, unlike most other guard models.

i would rather not buy a valkyrie for the door gunners

Check out D&D wolf miniatures. I know that Reaver has at least one miniature that is a wolf on a leash.

Use twine soaked in glue to make it stiff. Or small pieces of copper wire would work even better.
