Nice work with the repositioning of arms for your tac troops. The HQ is awesome with wonderful greenstuff work.

Not a big fan of the tron look but that may just be the maginified image and on table top its not as noticable (?)

All in all good work.

When you said pic heavy you were not lying. There are some sweet conversions in this army. I really liked the Master of the Forge the Conversion Beamer can't wait to see it painted. I really dig your army nice job.

Really nice army mate. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the 'Tron' look either but looking at the very first pic it doesn't seem noticeable at all.

Nice to see an almost complete army. Oh and lovely work with the conversions, specially on the HQ.

Me too, the heavy line highlights does nothing for me. The look of the army together is starting to look good, however I would consider toning down the highlights slightly? maybe add a mid colour, or even a wash.

I think the bold highlights is a cool choice. I dont think our plastic toy soldiers need to be realistic. The bold highlights and flames give the army an illustrated feel like it was ripped out of a comic book.

What colours have you used for the Green? If looks very vivid, and, contrary to others' opinion, I like the look of the sharp highlights, especially when the army is together. They must really pop on the table!

very nice stuff! Love the hard highlight on the edge of the models! Real nice work

looks like they stepped out of TRON. That highlighting is extreme and distracting. It kind of works for the ones where the flames catch the eye away. I imagine they look very stand-out-ish on the table but up close, the highlighting on every angle and corner is overwhelming. I agree with the above poster that a nice mid color to blend the edging to the base coat would make them flow much more and look less like a coloring book with so many sharp edges. I think the painting work is good on the skulls, eagles, flames, everything really but sheesh that highlighting is so bold it glows.

My favorite is the drop pod, it seemed a little more toned down, and the flames at the bottom really stand out as something cool and characterish about it.

All in all, just one dude's opinion, I think you are a good painter with a neat personal technique and a huge attention to detailing that definitely gives your models a unique touch but it is pretty over-the-top. Like I said they probably look great from table distance, but the closer the image gets, the more overwhelming the highlighting gets (especially the individual angles on the elbow guards). I mean no offense and I am a mediocre painter at best, but hey just my $0.02

Retroactively applied infallability is its own reward. I wish I knew this years ago.

I'm both chaotic and orderly. I value my own principles, and am willing to go to extreme lengths to enforce them, often trampling on the very same principles in the process. At best, I'm heroic and principled; at worst, I'm hypocritical and disorderly.

Thanks alot for the kind words, Brothers. I don´t like TRON, i prefer the term "Matrix Marines". Without question they look better on the table. They´re nothing for close up pics. For that i have my Night Lords. They´re painted on a much higher standard then my Salamanders. ´Till i stated with my NL painting was a pain in the arse for me, a necessary evil. But with my NL thing have changed, now i like painting. If you compare both armies, you will see a great improvement of my painting skills. Non the less my Sallies looks badass on the table and that´s all that matters.
For the green i used Snoot Green with a Badab Black wash and a Scorpion Green highlight. Nothing complicated.

Surprise is an insubstantial blade, a sword worthless in war.
It breakes when troops rally. It snaps when commanders holt the line.
But fear never fades.
Fear is a blade that sharpens with use.
So let the enemy know we come. Let their fears defeat them as everything falls dark.
At the world´s sun set.....
As the city is wreathed in its final night.....
Let ten thousand howls promise ten thousand claws.
The Night Lords are coming.
And no soul that stands against us shall see another dawn!
