How do wrathlords and support weapon platforms etc. get to the planet's surface?

What is the Eldar equivalent of a thunderhawk?

10k pts Eldar (no jetbikes -- how is that possible?)

2k pts 3rd edition Wolves (no werewolves or clifford cavalry -- but I do have a nifty Leman Russ Exterminator shaped paperweight)

Via a Webway Gate.

Eldar don't use large spacecraft, aside from for actual space combat.

Webway Gates, on the other hand, are used for damned near everything and seem to be setup to interconnect between planets, ships, and the Craftworlds themselves.

There is the Void Phoenix/Dragon ship thing that Forge world sell.

That could be used once on the planet. But mostly as Kanluwen said: Webway gates.

York/London(for weekends) oh for the glory of the british rail industry

The leaf of the poppy, rememberence poppys are made with a plastic stalk, then a card leaf, then a card flower and then a black poppy centre that holds it all together.

OT eldar have webway portals everywhere so most deployment happens through them

Exactly, Eldar use Webway portals to get onto planets. The upside is: a) They can get to places tied into the Webway very quickly, b) They don't have to go through the Warp.

The downside is that if the place they need to get to is cut off from the Webway, or just doesn't have a Webway gate, they're kinda screwed.

Which aren't landing craft or even transports for a squad. They're fighter-bombers.

That could be used once on the planet.

Again...no, they couldn't. They're not transports, of any sort.

I've always liked to think of it being that the Webway itself links to everywhere, just some parts aren't as well mapped out/kept clear.

Eldar have access to wraithgates which vary from small gates to gates large enough to walk titans through. Additionally they have landers, more elegant than the crude Thunderhawk. A more refined craft for a more civilized age...

Eldar use this and use it effectively:

The Eldar novel "Path of the Warrior" describes in detail, how special farseers open new gates in the webway to get troops to a battlefield. So this seems a common practice. For all other cases, there is always the Vampire Raider, as Frazzled said:
Forge World wrote:The Vampire Raider is capable of travelling at many times the speed of sound and often used for making swift sorties onto a planet's surface, engaging targets of opportunity and rapidly deploying troops.
